Embracing Solar Power

As a company one of our long standing missions is to be a force for good where ever possible. Following on from our recent tendors we are pleased to announce that the installation of our new solar panels, generating clean energy is now complete.

This project is helping fuel a clean energy environment working alongside other developments such as recyclable packaging. 

The project has received £17,408.00 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.  The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for the European Regional Development Fund.  Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.  For more information visit https://www.gov.uk/european-growth-funding.

Since installing our solar panels it is estimated that we will be saving 14 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year taking us  one step closer to being a greener, more sustainable manufacturing site.
